You will have ample time, approximately 30 minutes, to explore the interior of the mosque at your own pace, as admission is free.
Following that, the tour takes you to Kapali Carsi, a vibrant marketplace established in the 15th century, with over 4,000 shops that are organized according to their trade. The market features an array of Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand-painted ceramic plates, hand-carved copperware, brassware, onyx ware, meerschaum pipes, and more. You will have an hour to explore the maze of streets and alleys, with free admission.
The tour proceeds to the Hagia Sophia Mosque, an ancient basilica erected by Constantine the Great in the 4th century, and later restored by Justinian in the 6th century.
